Entrepreneur Donates $2.5M to Florida’s All Children’s Hospital

St. Petersburg, Fla.-based All Children’s Hospital received a $2.5 million donation from entrepreneur Bill Edwards to expand therapy and patient education programs at the facility, according to a report in the Tampa Bay Business Journal.

The funds will be used to expand the hospital’s music therapy program — including a music therapy internship program — and to expand access and programming on its GetWellNetwork, which provides patient education and information through patients’ bedside televisions, according to the report.

All Children’s Hospital provides pediatric specialty care and is a regional referral center for children with challenging medical conditions, according to the report.
