Doctors Hospital of Manteca opens $7M ASC: 5 things to know

Last week, the Doctors Hospital of Manteca (Calif.) held a ribbon cutting ceremony for its new surgery center, according to a Manteca Bulletin report.

Here are five things to know.

1. The $7 million facility hosted its first procedures on Feb. 1.

2. The surgery center is a joint venture between the Doctors Hospital of Manteca and Tenet Healthcare.

3. The ASC has three operating rooms, according to the report. One of the ORs is dedicated to cataract surgery.

4. The facility also has seven preoperative and postoperative beds.

5. The Doctors Hospital of Manteca surgery center offers specialties including ENT, cardiology, plastic surgery, podiatry, ophthalmology and urology.
