Easton-based University of Maryland Community Medical Group acquired Easton-based Digestive Health Associates, The Star reports.

Here’s what you should know:

1. Digestive Health Associates physicians will continue seeing patients at their current practice, while the practice will be rebranded into a UM CMG facility.

2. UM CMG is a network of more than 300 primary care physicians. The group is owned by the Baltimore-based University of Maryland Medical System.

3. UM CMG added 7 gastroenterologists through the acquisition.
