Influx of urgent care centers, ASC coming to Massachusetts town: 4 things to know

Numerous urgent care clinics and other medical facilities are coming to Marlboro, Mass., according to app.

Here are four things to know:

1. Marlboro Medical Arts will house a pharmacy, urgent care center and a physician therapy practice.

2. Once the medical campus is complete, planners plan to allot space for an ASC and offices for specialties such as sports medicine, pain management and orthopedics.

3. The surgery center and offices will sit on 24,000 square feet.

4. Six other urgent care centers have recently opened their doors in Massachusetts towns including Red Bank, Toms River, Brick, Edison, East Windsor and Lacey.
