Medical Facilities Corp. subsidiary, Ambulatory Innovation Associates JV on urgent care center

Medical Facilities Corp. subsidiary Little Rock-based Arkansas Surgical Hospital is joint venturing with Ambulatory Innovation Associates on an urgent care center in Little Rock, according to Markets Insider.

The urgent care center will offer a host of ambulatory care procedures to meet patient demand in Arkansas, according to Arkansas Surgical Hospital CEO Carrie Helm. The center will offer imaging, laboratory and diagnostic services.

MFC Interim CEO Jeffrey Lozon said, “This addition at ASH is completely in line with our strategy to grow organically by adding services and increasing access points to our hospitals. We expect this will help further solidify our presence in the community and be a source of referral patients.”
