Lubbock, Texas-based Covenant Health is building a development that will house a short-stay, outpatient surgical hospital, the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal reports.

1. The hospital will have 48 beds and 10 operating rooms.

2. Administrators believe the entire campus will take two years to build.
