Three quick notes:
1. The clinic will provide services that Abilene, Texas-based Hendrick Health System previously only offered about 80 miles away from Brownwood.
“We help provide any medical service that’s needed in the Brownwood community, so that if [patients are] using Hendrick, they’re not having to make that trip into Abilene,” Allison Israel, the Hendrick Provider Network practice manager, told Abilene Reporter News.
2. Outreach physicians from Abilene — including cardiology, pain management and gastroenterology specialists — will practice at the clinic.
3. The clinic is expected to serve between 1,800 and 2,000 patients a month. It is part of Hendrick Medical Plaza.
