Cincinnati Eye Institute readies to open surgery center — 5 insights

Mercy Health-Cincinnati will soon open a medical office building housing Cincinnati Eye Institute's new surgical center, the Cincinnati Business Courier reports.

What you should know:

1. The Cincinnati-based office building is 78,000 square feet.

2. Cincinnati Eye Institute and Cincinnati-based OHC cancer care will provide care in the building alongside Mercy Health.

3. Cincinnati Eye Institute established a practice and $3.3 million surgery center with three operating rooms on the third floor.

4. Cincinnati Eye Institute will consolidate four offices in the space, staffing it with 30 people.

5. Mercy expects to begin seeing patients at the building in May.
