Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU to open outpatient pavilion: 4 notes

Children’s Hospital of Richmond (Va.) at VCU will open its new Children’s Pavilion, dedicated to outpatient services on March 21, according to Augusta Free Press.

Here are four notes:

1. More than five years in the making, the pavilion costs $200 million.

2. The 15-story pavilion encompasses 640,000 square feet.

3. The pediatric facility will offer radiology, same-day surgery, lab testing, dialysis and infusions.

4. The outpatient pavilion keeps children in mind and includes a Ronald McDonald House Sibling Center, a sky terrace and interactive displays.
