1. One Vision is led by Maria Scott, MD, and Mark Whitten, MD. They aim to use the division to acquire ophthalmology practices in the U.S.’ Mid-Atlantic region while also recruiting top-performing physicians.
2. The newly formed One Vision also announced its first acquisition, Arlington (Va.) Eye Center.
3. Arlington Eye Center’s Maurice Gaspar, MD, and his team joined Chesapeake Eye Care, and will continue to work out of their current practice.
4. Neither party disclosed the deal’s terms.
5. One Vision is backed by Centre Partners, a private equity group.
