Carter Validus REIT Buys Stonegate Medical Center, Associated Surgery Center

Carter Validus Mission Critical REIT has acquired 100 percent of the fee simple interest in Stonegate Medical Center, a 27,000-square-foot facility in Austin that includes a surgery center, diagnostic and radiological center and pain management center, according to a Citybizlist Atlanta report.

Stonegate Medical Center was constructed in 2008 and consists of three buildings. As of March 30, 2012, the Stonegate Medical Center was 100 percent leased to three tenants, including the 9,100-square-foot Stonegate Surgery Center.
