Bryn Mawr Hospital’s orthopedic ASC marks major milestone with 1st surgery: 4 things to know

Bryn Mawr (Pa.) Hospital recently opened an orthopedic surgery center, according to Main Line Today.

Here are four things to know:

1. The center is in the fourth floor of a $15 million building.

2. Equipped with nine operating rooms, the ASC has 14 pre- and post-operative areas.

3. William Emper, MD, performed the first surgery in the ASC on June 14.

4. Dr. Emper’s career spans 30 years. He practices at Philadelphia-based Rothman Institute.
