BayCare Health System considers building new outpatient facility — 4 notes

Clearwater, Fla.-based BayCare Health System is weighing its options concerning building a new outpatient facility in Valrico, Fla., according to Tampa Bay Business Journal.

Here are four notes:

1. On Dec. 12, 2016, BayCare purchased 18 acres of land in Valrico, Fla..

2. A BayCare spokesperson said the nonprofit health system aims to develop an outpatient services facility on the land.

3. The spokesperson did not provide further details concerning the project  and said BayCare will not make such details available under after the first year of development.

4. As the largest nonprofit health system in Tampa Bay, Fla., BayCare operates 14 hospitals and several outpatient facilities.
