Four notes:
1. The groups merging are Orthopedic Specialists of Glens Falls, Watertown, N.Y.-based North Country Orthopedics, Surgical Specialists of Glens Falls Hospital, Queensbury, N.Y.-based Baywood Surgical, Glens Falls-based Adirondack Urology and Glens Falls-based Center for Lung and Chest Surgery.
2. The six teams will combine to form Surgical Specialists of Glens Falls Hospital.
3. The combined group will conduct preoperative and postoperative meetings, provide injections and offer additional care services in 26,000 square feet of office space across from the hospital. All surgeries will be performed at the hospital.
4. The new building enables Glens Falls Hospital to get additional reimbursement because it is considered “on campus.”
