4 new joint-venture ASCs — October 2019

Here are four joint-venture ASCs opened or announced in October:

In partnership with local surgeons, Fisher-Titus Convenient Care broke ground on the Surgery Center of North Central Ohio in Norwalk.

University of Tennessee Medical Center and OrthoTennessee partnered to open an orthopedic surgery center near the university's main campus.

Shields Health Care Group in Quincy, Mass., Tufts Medical Center Physicians Organization in Boston and MelroseWakefield Healthcare in Melrose, Mass., opened an ASC on the campus of Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford, Mass.

Regent Surgical Health inked a partnership with Universal Health Services, a 354-hospital chain with facilities across the U.S., to build and operate ASCs.
