3 Michigan ASCs receive CON approval in March — 3 quick points

The Michigan Department of Health & Human Services granted certificate of need approval to three surgery centers in March.

Here’s what you should know.

1. Flint, Mich.-based Michigan Eye Surgery Center received approval to add one operating room for $10,000.

2. Bay Valley Surgery Center in Saginaw, Mich., won approval for a new freestanding surgical outpatient facility with one operating room. The project will cost $3,060,000.

3. Flint-based Surgery Center at Gateway also received approval to build a new freestanding surgical outpatient facility with one operating room for $3,703,210.
