A well-run ASC in Newark, DE, Glasgow Ambulatory Surgery Center, formed a joint venture partnership with Regent Surgical Health because the Center wanted to take its financial game up a notch – while continuing to provide high quality, community-based surgical care that is safe, convenient, and cost effective.
In just one year’s time, through the efforts of all parties involved in the joint venture, Glasgow ASC has moved from an operating loss in 2015 to realize an operating profit in 2016, and anticipates an 80% increase over that operating profit in 2017. In addition, Regent spearheaded improvements to the physical plant, upgrading four existing operating rooms to state of the art, and added 10 new physicians to the ASC family.
