23-hour stays come to UCSF at Mount Zion surgery center

UCSF Medical Center at Mount Zion in San Francisco, which operates as a surgery center, has received approval for 23-hour stays.

The ambulatory surgery site will continue to focus on women’s health and cancer patients. The center has already hosted a number of 23-hour stay patients.
