Five details:
1. Tuckahoe Orthopaedics signed an agreement to be acquired by Bon Secours April 9. The transaction is expected to close in October.
2. The practice’s physicians already have privileges at Bon Secours hospitals, and two of its clinics are on the hospital campuses.
3. Bon Secours aims to expand its provider network with the acquisition. Tuckahoe’s services include MRI, physical therapy, outpatient rehabilitation and orthopedic care.
4. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
5. Tuckahoe Orthopaedics tried to merge with another orthopedic practice, Advanced Orthopaedics, in 2015, but the deal fell through.
