University of Iowa teaches middle school girls about medicine

University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine in Iowa City will host the “Girls Go STEM!” program for girls aged sixth through eighth grade, according to Iowa City Press-Citizen.

The middle schoolers will learn about science, technology, engineering and math from UI medical and bioscience students and physicians. The girls will participate in interactive lessons.
