TouchCare releases new provider-to-provider consult feature: 6 key notes

Mobile health application TouchCare has announced a new update called “My Colleagues,” which allows physicians and providers a way to do video consults with their peers and colleagues.

Here are six key notes:

1. Providers can schedule HIPAA-compliant video consults with each other or make themselves available for on-demand consults.

2. The TouchCare app allows providers to connect with patients via face-to-face video calls.

3. TouchCare is available for any iOS or Android device.

4. Connected users can schedule and perform secure video appointments with each other, with no change in clinical work flow.

5. The product update also includes improved email and in-app appointment confirmation notifications to further ensure security and keep schedules intact.
