TeamHealth revenue reaches $1.14B — 5 key notes

TeamHealth, an outsourced healthcare professional staffing and administrative service supplier, announced its first quarter results for 2016.

Here are five key notes:

1. TeamHealth’s net revenue reached $1.14 billion, up 35.1 percent from $192.7 million during the first quarter of 2015.

2. Net earnings attributable to TeamHealth were $700,000 for the quarter.

3. TeamHealth had diluted earnings per share of $0.01, and adjusted earnings per share of $0.62.

4. The company expects 2016 net revenue growth between 31 percent and 33 percent.

5. For 2016, the company expects an adjusted EBITDA margin between 10.5 percent and 11.0 percent.

“We are pleased with our financial results in the first quarter with double digit growth in both net revenue and adjusted EBITDA and a significant improvement in operating cash flow. We benefited from solid performance in our core operations in addition to benefiting from the growth associated with the IPC transaction,” said TeamHealth President and CEO Mike Snow.
