Here are four highlights:
1. Presidio Surgery Center is affiliated with Sutter Health’s California Pacific Medical Center.
2. From Oct. 19 to Oct. 20, 2016, the surgery center underwent an onsite review, during which the Joint Commission analyzed compliance with advanced disease-specific care standards as well as total hip and knee replacement requirements.
3. The center is the only California-based surgery center with a Joint Commission Advanced Certification for Total Hip and Knee Replacement, according to the press release.
4. In addition to total joint replacement, Presidio Surgery Center offers outpatient spine surgery, sports medicine procedures, general surgery, ENT surgery, pediatrics and urology procedures.
