Here are five key points:
1. In August, Frisco experienced heavy rains, causing the ASC’s rubber rooftop to flood. Peak One Surgery Center closed that month and rescheduled several procedures.
2. Following the initial closure, the ASC reopened its doors two week later.
3. However, water leaks are propelling the ASC to close its doors again for nearly one month due to continuous issues.
4. Peak One Surgery Center Administrator Michaela Halcomb said the ASC will have a full roof replacement.
5. A roofing contractor found the ASC needed to completely replace its roofing structuring. The ASC then canceled nearly 75 scheduled procedures or moved them to St. Anthony Summit Medical Center in Frisco.
