1. Mpirica’s quality score program provides consumers with a three-digit numeral score assessing surgical providers on their clinical outcomes.

2. Mpirica determines this score using a team of data scientists and physicians. According to a release, “The company’s proprietary quality score methodology is based on decades of analyzing and risk-adjusting claims data from insurance companies, commercial payers, the federal government and health systems.”

3. Mpricia has already launched quality scores for 864 different procedures and for healthcare organizations and surgeons across the nation.

4. OurCrowd, a crowdfunding equity platform, and a Seattle-based equity firm were lead investors.
