Marymount Hospital’s ASC turns 18: 4 things to know

Earlier in March, Cleveland Clinic’s Marymount Hospital’s Ambulatory Surgery Center in Garfield Heights, Ohio, celebrated its 18th year of operation.

Here are four things to know:

1. Since it opened, the ASC grew from four operating rooms to five.

2. The surgery center offers care in a wide-array of specialties, however for the last two years or so, the ASC’s physicians have been focusing on orthopedic cases.

3. The ASC was the site of more than 3,200 surgical cases across all specialties.

4. The ASC also has the ability to provide 23-hour stays.
