Here are four things to know.
1. The prostate cancer treatment is coming to the surgery center through a partnership with HIFU Prostate Services and Pacific Coast Urology in Los Alamitos, Calif.
2. Dr. Pugach will serve as the medical director of the new partnership.
3. He will not only perform the Sonablate HIFU procedure at the surgery center, but also offer other physicians training on the procedure.
4. Los Alamitos Surgery Center also offers orthopedics, podiatry, general surgery, gastroenterology and plastics.
