Iowa hospital gets surgical robot in multimillion dollar upgrade

This fall Spencer (Iowa) Hospital added the Stryker Mako robotics system to its surgery center, the Daily Reporter said Oct. 22.

The addition is a part of a multimillion dollar upgrade to the surgery center.

The robotics is designed to improve surgical precision, personalization and outcomes for patients having knee and hip replacements.
