InterMed ASC staff moves ‘patients’ to safety in emergency preparedness simulation: 3 details

Portland, Maine-based InterMed’s ASC staff participated in a series of emergency preparedness exercises Oct. 30.

1. The exercises included a mock evacuation drill, during which team members moved CPR mannequins to safety.

2. The Portland Fire Department visited the ASC for the exercise.

3. InterMed’s ASC offers gastroenterology, gynecology, orthopedics, ENT, podiatry, retinal surgery and urology procedures.
