Husband charged in clinic shooting of Georgia rehab technician

The husband of a Georgia rehabilitation clinic technician faces aggravated assault charges in her shooting this week at her workplace, according to a report from the Clay County Progress.

Crystal Matheson was at the clinic the afternoon of Jan. 26, when her husband, Charles Matheson, walked in and shot her with a handgun, according to a warrant for his arrest.

Mrs. Matheson is recovering from surgery after multiple injuries sustained in the shooting, according to the report.

Mr. Matheson was subsequently arrested and held on $1 million bond. His next court date is Feb. 15.
