Hurricane Harvey causes OakBend Health System ASCs to temporarily close: 4 things to know

Hurricane Harvey is making its way throughout southeastern Texas, causing Richmond, Texas-based OakBend Medical Center’s ASCs to temporarily close, according to Chron.

Here are four things to know:

1. The health system’s ASCs, emergency room and hospital on the Williams Way Campus in Richmond are closed through Sept. 1.

2. The health system coordinated an evacuation on its Williams Way Campus Aug. 28.

3. OakBend Health System’s Jackson Street Campus in Richmond is currently at capacity.

4. The health system advises those who need to access the hospital to use the emergency entrance.
