Healthwin expands facility for estimated $3.4M — 4 facts to know

Healthwin, an outpatient center that also provides long-term care for the elderly, is expanding its facility to meet resident demands.

Here are four things to note:

1. Stephen Gazdick, CFO, stated the facility has been updated in the last four years to focus on improvements that will raise standards.

2. The two-story addition will be 10,000 square feet and is estimated to cost $3.4 million.

3. The first floor will be an expansion of the outpatient therapy services and the second floor will be an expansion of the skilled nursing unit.

4. The facility will be operating by early 2016 with plans for future expansion taking a backseat for awhile. Mr. Gazdick believes it will be a few years before Healthwin begins another big project.
