Facebook’s early investors & Rebright Partners invest $1.2M in DocsApp — 4 things to know

Anand Rajaraman and Venky Harinarayan, two early angel investors of Facebook, and Rebright Partners, a Japan-based venture capital firm, have made a seed investment of $1.2 million in Bangalore-based health tech startup DocsApp, according to TechInAsia.

Here are four things to know:

1. DocsApp, a mobile-only physician consultation platform, claims to connect patients with a specialist physician within 30 minutes.

2. DocsApp currently offers nine specialties, including gynecology, psychiatry, dermatology, pediatrics, weight management, gastroenterology and general medicine.

3. Mr. Rajaraman and Mr. Harinarayan are entrepreneurs and investors from Silicon Valley, Calif., who sold their company Junglee to Amazon and architected the marketplace model for e-commerce in the nineties.

4. Rebright Partners invests in early stage Internet companies around Asia.
