Cleveland Clinic surgery center opens public walking trails: 5 things to know

The Cleveland Clinic Twinsburg (Ohio) Family Health and Surgery Center has officially opened walking trails surrounding its facility, according to a Twinsburg Bulletin report.

Here are five things to know about the project.

1. The 12-acre project began March 16 and was completed in July, according to the report.

2. The project offers two different trails. One trail is surrounded by wild flowers, and the other is surrounded by rock formations.

3. Cleveland Clinic partnered with Davey Tree Expert Co. to build the trails. The project includes a nature conservancy and natural wetlands.

4. The trail is open to patients, family, staff and the community.

5. Cleveland Clinic officials also plan to use the path for health and wellness programs, according to the report.
