Here’s what you should know.

1. The platform allows providers to share EHRs despite where they work or what EHR they use.

2. The platform also features ICC Direct. ICC Direct uses secure messaging to automate the creation of new ICC referrals from any certified EHR. The providers can then electronically exchange documents.

3. ICC Direct also helps providers meet the MACRA’s electronic transmission requirement.

4. Cary Skin Center President Robert Clark, MD, PhD, said, “We’ve been looking for a solution to close the loop on patient care. Now with ICC Direct, our referral process is even more efficient with little to no workflow integration changes, and we can easily meet the electronic transmission requirement for MACRA quality payment program for the Merit-Based Payment System.”
