Here’s what you should note:
1. Carolina Orthopaedics, Carolina Coast Surgery Center and ATI Physical Therapy, all based in Murrells Inlet, hosted the students.
2. Fifty-five students from 10 high schools are attending the second annual Medical Mentoring Program.
3. In the program, students have the opportunity to shadow physicians, registered nurses, physician assistants, physical therapists, occupational therapists, radiology, surgeons, registered nurses, surgery technicians and anesthesiologists.
4. The program runs for 11 weeks in the summer.
