Asheville Surgery Center joins Mission Health’s EHR system: 3 things to know

Asheville (N.C.) Surgery Center, an affiliate of Mission Health, has joined Mission Health’s electronic medical record, effective Feb. 1.

Here are three things to know:

1. The EHR system is part of Mission Health’s “One Patient, One Chart” initiative aimed at improving care across the region.

2. The EHR system allows patient information to be available in real time to the patient’s primary care provider as well as to other healthcare facilities, such as the ASC.

3. The EHR system also aims at reducing the number of duplicate tests that patients undergo.
