ASC design business is booming for New York architects

 
A New York architecture firm is reaping the benefits of a boom in surgery center development, according to the Albany Business Journal.

Key details:

1. Twenty percent of architecture firm Hyman Hayes Associates’ revenue stems from ASC design. Hyman Hayes designed Albany-based OrthoNY ASC.

2. Hyman Hayes has designed 16 ASCs since 2012 and expects to expand the number of ASCs it designs.

3. The firm is planning to expand into other states where physician groups are permitted to build ASCs.
