AmSurg 4Q revenue hits $581M, Foundation HealthCare revenue up 20% & more – 5 ASC company key notes

Here are five recent news updates on ambulatory surgery center companies.

AmSurg reported net revenues of $581.8 million for the fourth quarter, up 108 percent from the fourth quarter of 2013. The company’s net earnings from continuing operations attributable to common shareholders was $25.3 million, adjusted net earnings of $39.6 million, up 95 percent from the same period in 2013.

Jeffries Group research analysts have increased the price target on AmSurg stock from $65 to $68 per share, according to a WKRB News & Analysis report. 

Foundation HealthCare reported $31.1 million in net revenues for the fourth quarter, up 20 percent from $26 million in the same period in 2013.

Surgical Care Affiliates‘ short interest increased 15.4 percent, or 33,382 shares, according to a report from Candle Strips Bar & Graph Report

Tenet Healthcare reported net income of $61 million for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2014, compared to a net loss of $24 million in the comparable period of the prior year. The Dallas-based hospital operator saw its net operating revenues grow to $4.5 billion in the quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, up from $3.9 billion in the fourth quarter of 2013.
