Five key details to know:
1. An Alabama physician allegedly recruited young women he had sexual relationships with to be patients at his clinic and allowed the women and their associates to abuse drugs at his house.
2. A second physician in Alabama allegedly dispensed controlled substances and prescription drugs directly from the clinic.
3. The physician prescribed excessive amounts of controlled substances to the same patients multiple times per month, amounting to as many as 15 pills for some patients.
4. The physician signed blank prescription forms that could be completed by staff if she was not at the clinic.
5. The physicians were charged as part of a larger investigation that included 60 individuals, including 53 medical providers
