1. Dr. Rich has been in practice for 40 years at Northern Virginia Ophthalmology Associates, with locations in Falls Church, Fairfax and Alexandria.
2. He is currently the president of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
3. Dr. Rich began his practice with Thomas Frey, MD, in 1976.
4. Northern Virginia Ophthalmology Associates has grown to twelve ophthalmologists and two optometrists.
5. The practice specializes in comprehensive ophthalmology, glaucoma, uveitis, cataract surgery, pediatric ophthalmology, neuro-ophthalmology, oculoplastics and contact lenses.
6. Dr. Rich completed his ophthalmology residency at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C.
