Three ways ASCs can set themselves apart:

1. Market your services to referring physicians and insurers. Promoting your center ensures you stay top-of-mind when physicians and insurance companies refer patients for procedures.

2. Grow your customer base. If physicians at your ASC see certain patients routinely, accommodate those patients in a way that encourages loyalty and ensures a steady revenue stream for the ASC.

3. Improve patient experience. Making your ASC more efficient while improving patient experience will help your center stand out from the competition. Advancing patient communication, improving the hand-off process so patients don’t have to answer the same questions twice and following up with patients after procedures improves the overall patient experience.
