3 Statistics on Employed Physicians’ Satisfaction With Autonomy at Work

Nearly half of employed physicians are satisfied with their degree of autonomy at work, according to Medscape’s Employed Doctors Report 2014.

The report includes responses from 4,600 physicians.

When asked if they were satisfied their degree of autonomy at work, employed respondents reported:

•    Satisfied — 49 percent
•    Neutral —  26 percent
•    Unsatisfied — 25 percent
