Vitera Healthcare Solutions Finds Health Professionals Want Mobile EHR Solutions

Tampa, Fla.-based Vitera Healthcare Solutions found in a recent survey that 72 percent of healthcare professionals already use mobile devices for work but only 6 percent use their devices to connect to their electronic health records or e-prescribe, according to Equities.com.

However, the survey also found that 91 percent of physicians were interested in a mobile EHR solution, followed by 66 percent of administrators and 43 percent of billing managers.

According to the healthcare IT provider’s survey, respondents are looking for a mobile EHR solution with the ability to review, update a patient’s chart and order prescriptions.
