UnitedHealth Group, Humana and Aetna all said Monday they will continue to cover preventive care, including immunizations and screenings, without requiring a co-payment from patients. They also said they’d continue to cover adult children up to age26 through their parents’ insurance plans and continue to offer a simple process for patients who want to appeal denied claims.
UnitedHealth was the first insurer to make its intentions known. WellPoint said it will announce its plans after the Supreme Court’s ruling.
