Tenet Surgery Centers Renew Payor Contract With Cigna

Tenet Healthcare Corporation has announced it has signed a new multi-year agreement with Cigna, under which Cigna customers will have access to healthcare services at all hospitals owned and operated by Tenet subsidiaries, according to a Market Watch report.

This includes all freestanding diagnostic imaging centers, ambulatory surgery centers, urgent care centers and other freestanding outpatient centers in which Tenet holds majority interest.  

“We are pleased to have completed our renewal with Cigna in a collaborative way well in advance of our scheduled renewal date. Our relationship with Cigna is one of our largest and most important to the company,” said Clint Hailey, Tenet’s chief managed care officer.
