Summit Health Adopts Nuance Communications’ Coding Tools for ICD-10 Training

Chambersburg, Pa.-based Summit Health is using Clintegrity 360’s computer-assisted coding and clinical document improvement features from Nuance Communications to prepare for its ICD-10 launch next year.

Summit Health is using Nuance programs across both its inpatient and outpatient settings to help identify gaps in documentation accuracy and to train staff members on ICD-10 updates. The tools are designed to help both coders and clinicians improve their end of ICD-10.
