Here’s what you should know:

1. The hearings will center on the ACA, in light of failed attempts to repeal and replace the ACA.

2. Sen. Lamar Alexander, R-Tenn., said by the end of September, he hopes to provide the 18 million Americans with insurance purchase coverage through ACA exchanges “peace of mind” that options will be available at a “reasonable price.”

3. The hearings will be a bipartisan effort with senators from both parties present.

4. Mr. Alexander reiterated his support for the bipartisan effort saying, “Any solution that Congress passes for a 2018 stabilization package will have to be small, bipartisan and balanced.”
