1. Mr. Sanders will introduce the Medicare for All Act on Sept. 13.

2. Mr. Whitehouse is active in the healthcare arena. He reintroduced legislation in January that would have created a public health insurance option to the ACA.

3. Mr. Whitehouse is a member of the Senate’s health committee. The committee is in the midst of creating a bipartisan health plan that it intends to introduce as an ACA alternative.
