Preventing insurers from denying customers because of preexisting conditions
Removing lifetime maximums for coverage
Providing pregnancy care
Allowing people up to 26-years-old to stay on their parent’s plans
2. Legislators also added an income tax credit to help cover insurance premiums.
3. The state is unsure if the newly introduced element would be eligible for any sort of state relief.
4. Since the ACA’s implementation in 2010, approximately 54,000 Hawaiians gained insurance.
